Wally Edge reports that some unspecified Aberdeen GOP leaders are encouraging former Undersheriff Adam Puharic to run for County Chairman.
Puharic is a former municipal chairman and township committee candidate. He was a founding member of the Bayshore Republican Conference. He works as a spokesperson for Meridian Health, and heads Michael's Feat, which helps seriously ill newborn babies.
It is not known at this time whether Puharic himself is actually interested in the chairman's position or not.
UPDATE
Will Seward has interesting comments from Puharic himself.

Adam might be a good choice. Question is how much support can he generate at this late date.
Hey John Doe....I've heard of you!

"Puharic would be a very decent candidate"
Yes he would. For township committee, for man of the year, someday maybe even for Freeholder or State Legislature. For County Chair? Not yet.

"Man of the Year?! Wow! I didn't realize he was THAT great!"
Adam and his wife Dana have done remarkable work through their charity, The Michael Gerard Puharic Memorial Fund, Inc., and have been recognised by several organizations.
However, that doesn't make him County Chairman material. On my blog, Michael Borg posted that Adam has a great plan for the party, and that he hoped that Adam would have to opportunity to share it with the county committee. If it is sent to me, I will post it. I expect Abe would do the same.
I most certainly would, Mr. Secretary. So far, nothing received, though.
Adam is a hard worker and knows public relations. We sure could use some positive press. As an Aberdeen resident and Republican he would be good for the County organization.
